Tuition and Policies

Sacred Journey Institute provides affordable CranioSacral Therapy program and flexible payment options.


Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development Certificate (GED), demonstrate emotional stability and physically able to perform CranioSacral Therapy protocols taught in the program. Sacred Journey Institute does not discriminate by creed, color, sex or race, national origin, citizenship, marital status, veteran status, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, age, sexual orientation or disability (unless the disability prevents the applicant from succeeding in the program). Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to meet with Sacred Journey Institute administration prior to admission to determine what, if any, special accommodations might be necessary and Sacred Journey Institute’s ability to meet specialized needs.

Steps to Admission:

  1. Submit an application along with the $150 application & interview fee.
  2. Make an appointment for an interview. The application & interview fee is refunded if applicant is not accepted or by a written request to withdraw within three (5) days after notification of acceptance
  3. Allow at least an hour for the interview and plan at that time to discuss class scheduling and payment.


All students must be registered before taking classes at sacred Journey Institute. Tuition payments for all plans are required to confirm registration and are due prior to the start of classes. We recommend registering for all classes as early as possible to insure your space. SACRED JOURNEY INSTITUTE RESERVES A RIGHT TO CHANGE CLASSES, DATES AND TIMES

Individual Course Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation of a course must be made with the SJI office a minimum of (5) five business days prior to the first day of class to receive a refund or apply the money towards another class. Cancellation given less than 5 days prior to the first day of class will forfeit the 10% deposit. Refunds will be given within 10 business days.

Late Payment

Tuition not paid by the due date will result in a $10 late fee. Failure to pay tuition and late charges within 10 days of due date may result in probation, suspension, or dismissal. Returned check fee $20.

Attendance Policy

We believe that success is based on passion and motivation towards learning. To deliver the best quality education, we require all students to attend all classes, practicum and clinic.

Disciplinary Policy

Students are expected to follow all school rules and policies. The following are selected policies in which students may be dismissed or placed on probation:

  • violation of the SJI sexual activity policy
  • violation of substance abuse policy
  • breach of privacy or confidentiality
  • willful abuse of SJI property or members.
  • any other inappropriate or unethical conduct as deemed by administration

Tuition Refund Policy

Students not accepted to the school or students who cancel this contract by notifying the school within three (5) business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. Students who withdraw after three (5) business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid except the maximum cancellation charge of $100 In the case of students withdrawing after the commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on a percentage of contact hours, as described in the table below. The refund is based on the last date of recorded

Student Grievance Policy

Students with grievances with instructors should take the grievance directly to the instructor. If a student does not receive a satisfactory resolution, s/he should complete a “Grievance Form” available from the Business Office. The grievance form requires a written description of the (a) facts of the issue, (b) names of people involved, (c) any related circumstances, (d) time, and (e) any additional relevant data. Once completed, the form should be submitted to the School Director.

Career Services

Sacred Journey Institute offers Career Services to our students and graduates as an essential part of their professional development. SJI will do whatever possible to help and assist success of the students in the market


Students are eligible for graduation upon successful completion of all classes in their specific program and full payment of all fees & tuition.

Make-up class

In case of not being able to take a level at scheduled time student will need to wait until the missed level comes up on the calendar again in order to take it. Students can retake each level for half price paid before the first day of the class.

A Pass/ Fail system

Grade status is based on class performance, observation, participation and willingness and understanding of the subject as well as the tests and assignments. Instructors evaluate each student in each course based on the student’s knowledge and mastery of material.


Students will receive an incomplete for any of the following reasons: missed classes, substandard performance, and failure to complete required assignments. If an incomplete is issued, students have to satisfactorily complete all work required within the time mandated on the incomplete form. Refer to Student Policy Manual for full policy description.

Class Size and Times

SJI institute offers weekend classes that are full day, Thursday to Sunday. English is the only language used in all course materials and classroom instruction. Class enrollments will vary between 6 & 15 students with 6 being minimum class enrollment. Classes start at 8am and are finished at 5pm.

Dress Code

Compliance with the published dress code is required at all times. Students are expected to be well-groomed and professionally attired during the CST training. No tight clothing, halter tops, short shorts, exposed private body parts.

No Show

A “No Show” is defined as non-attendance of a course that a student is enrolled in without notification to the school. This is a disciplinary violation and may result in probation.

Recognized Holidays

Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Refer to the enclosed program class schedule for specific holiday dates, days and times for the current academic year.

Credit for Previous Training

Applicants having earned previous credit or hours from another school offering CranioSacral Therapy cannot transfer any of the hours since the CranioSacral Therapy Program at SJI is a unique Program.
